Major project commissioned in Valenciennes
In Valenciennes, France, our teams have done a lot of work and delivered another great project. It concerns several installations in the new 6000 m2 leisure park Nungesser. In addition to a swimming pool, the complex is also equipped for practising other sports. For example, the swimming pool has an Olympic pool: 50 m long, 25 m wide, a 200 m2 play pool, a 20-metre slide, a 60 to 130 cm paddling pool, a wellness area with spa, hammam, 2 saunas, etc. and a play area for young children. The complex also has a 20-meter-deep diving pit.
Duo- movable floor and pool covers
In addition to the installation of a 25 x 24.5 metre duo-movement pool floor, a 25 x 0.5 metre retractable wall, four different pool covers have also been installed in three different designs! The sizes of the covers are 15 x 12.5 meters, 5.2 x 13.2 meters, 25 x 7.8 metres and 25 x 25 meters. This has been done together with our colleagues from Variodeck. The beautiful pool will be open to the public on 15 February 2020.
