De Sypel sports complex opts for 2 pool floors.

Thursday, February 16, 2023, the new target group pool in Sports Complex De Sypel was put into operation. It is the first new pool to be completed; a nice milestone in the new construction of the pool. During the renovation, the premise is to keep the pool open as much as possible. Therefore, the new pool will open in phases. The official grand opening of the total pool will be on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Commissioned by the municipality of Harderwijk, Variopool installed no less than two movable pool floors. In the target group pool, a movable duo-floor with flap has installed including a disabled platform and a ramp. In the competition pool a movable floor measuring 15 x 9 meters was installed, and the pool was made suitable for competitive swimming and with complete equipment for water polo

About the multifunctional target group pool

This warm target group pool is multifunctional and flexible. With a wall, the large pool can be divided and used by different target groups at the same time. The movable floor is adjustable as a whole or in parts. And there are jet streams. For visitors who cannot get in and out of the water as easily, there are facilities such as a ramp and an elevator.
