Innovative two-temperature pool in Wieringerwerf

For the modern sports center De Terp in Wieringerwerf, Variopool has made a unique contribution by providing a movable floor and a hinged bulkhead. This clever combination, realized in collaboration with Slangen+Koenis Architects and Hellebrekers, makes it possible to divide the pool into two zones with different water temperatures.

Temperature flexibility

Once the bulkhead is raised, the water temperature in one of the pools can be increased. This is ideal for children and seniors, who benefit from warmer water during swimming lessons or relaxing aqua activities. The movable floor is equipped with special integrated water inlets, which make the increased temperature possible.
